A deep clean for the fissures – the Westermann company washer
Clean running surfaces in livestock farms prevent diseases and minimise the risk of injury for the animals. The washer from the Westermann company has already been awarded the gold medal at the Euro Tier exhibition – the award-winning cleaning system is also available in a compact version. The Westermann company developed an extension module for the approved multifunctional system Cleanmeleon 2 that facilitates the washing of slatted floors.
The washer cleaning system consists of a water tank, a high-performance hydraulic pump and robust cleaning stars. Three rubber strips in total clean the floor; flexible rubber stars also press the dirt through the fissure slits. High-pressure jets then rinse the running surface and the slits off. The last rubber strip simultaneously dries the floor. The slatted floor is cleaned and any build-up of urine scale is prevented – this not only reduces the risk of slipping for the livestock but also protects the material.
Compared to the award-winning predecessor, the Cleanmeleon 2 with washer stands out thanks to its compact and flexible design and the affordable price. It is highly versatile and is equipped with a high-performance 2-cylinder motor.
